ANSWERING ALL YOUR QUESTIONS

DO I HAVE TO ATTEND THE SAME CLASS EVERY WEEK?
You can use your credits to attend any classes you like. You can opt to attend the same classes for the whole term, but we know life can get busy and sometimes you won't be able to make that class. Not to worry, you can cancel out of your class (6HRS prior) and use that credit to attend another class. You can use your credits however you please, just note that if you purchase non-pole credits, these can only be used towards non-pole dance classes, and studio hire credits can only be used towards studio hire, etc.
WHAT DO I WEAR TO A POLE CLASS?
You can wear whatever you feel comfortable in or something you would usually wear to a gym class. We do recommend bringing shorts with you to change in to so the skin on your legs can grip to the pole
I HAVE NEVER DONE POLE, WHAT GOES ON IN A POLE CLASS
AND HOW LONG IS A TERM?
Our terms run for 8 weeks, in each 60 minute class you will go through a warm up, work on strength and conditioning exercises and then learn pole sits, spins and tricks, finishing off with a cool down
DO I HAVE TO WEAR HEELS?
Tricks classes are mainly done without heels. Some dance classes, heels are preferred based on the style of dance. However, heels are absolutely optional and you don't have to wear heels. Most of our students start out without them but once they feel more confident they get a pair for themselves! We do Pleaser heels pre-orders at a discounted price, message us if interested in purchasing!
WHAT ELSE SHOULD I BRING TO CLASS?
If you are doing a dance class we recommend bringing knee pads (available for purchase in studio). Bring a yoga mat (available for purchase in studio), a bottle of water to stay hydrated and a sweat towel.
I DON'T HAVE ANY STRENGTH, CAN I STILL JOIN?
Absolutely! Everyone is starting out as a beginner and in the same position you are. You will gradually build strength in classes each week. Pole is just another form of fitness, just the fun kind ;)
HOW DO I BOOK MY CLASSES?
We use an app called Glofox. Once you download the Glofox app, search "Just Pole Fitness" and create a new account. To book classes, purchase your desired membership course package based off how many classes you want to do per week. You can then book in to desired classes for the following 14 days using your credits. You are able to cancel your class and have your credit returned to your account however you will need to cancel 6 hours prior to the class start time otherwise your credit will be forfeited.

WHAT IF I CAN'T ATTEND A CLASS?
If you are unable to attend a class, you can login to your Glofox account and cancel the class. If you cancel out before 6 hours of class start time, the credit will go back to your account so you can use on another class. If you cancel out within 6 hours you will lose your credit. Please make sure you cancel out of your classes if you can't attend so that those that may be on a waitlist will drop in the class in your place.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM ON A CLASS WAITLIST?
If you are on a class waitlist and someone cancels out of the class, you will receive an email and/or text letting you know that a space has become available. You will then need to book in your spot to confirm your booking.

CAN I GET A REFUND ON MY COURSE?
Please make sure you choose wisely when purchasing your course for the term as there are no refunds or transfers on course purchases.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE CREDITS LEFT OVER BY THE END OF TERM?
Your credits that are allocated every fortnight have a 14 day expiry. Your membership course also begins the date of purchase, this means that if you have purchased after the term start date, your membership will carry into the new term until the final expiry(21 days) of your last fortnight payment of your membership contract. Memberships do auto renew for 8 weeks, every 8 weeks. If you do not wish to renew, you will need to let us know 72hrs prior to the membership renewal date and we will process that for you. If you do not let us know, the membership will renew for another 8 weeks.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I BECOME INJURED AND AM UNABLE TO ATTEND CLASSES?
All you have to do is message us on our Facebook page or Instagram page and we will discuss your options with you. Your health and recovery is our number one priority.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT DANCE CLASS IS SUITABLE FOR MY LEVEL?
Check out our Dance Classes tab and it will have the class descriptions. You can also check out what the style of dance will look like by going to the teachers Instagram. In the dance class descriptions we have included the teachers Instagram handle. We also highlight all classes in pink on our timetable for dance classes suitable for beginners.

DO I HAVE TO PERFORM AT SHOWCASE NIGHTS IF I DO DANCE CLASSES
No this is absolutely optional, if you aren't ready to perform, come watch the show and see what it's all about! We run showcase terms every second term and it will show on the timetable if it is a showcase term.
